Many people have got enough pieces of open space in their urban yards that they are underutilizing or using for other nonproductive uses.
I will be giving you a good idea of how to make good use of those spaces by growing vegetables or setting up a small orchard

Make or buy wooden boxes of your desired sizes and shape.

Start filling them up with all your kitchen and garden waste.
When the waste has decomposed and turned into compost you go to the next step.

In these boxes fill the top with topsoil and grow compost depending on which crops do you want to grow.
I have given a good example of how you can grow potatoes in the above picture.
Once you have planted your crops of choice you can protect your crops from direct scorching sun, insects, and pests by installing the covering nets as shown in the picture below
